Mesa do Presidente Red Douro DOC
Mesa do Presidente Douro Red was created to introduce you to a world of Portuguese experiences and flavours. Is a ruby colored wine, made from Touriga Nacional, Touriga Franca and Tinta Roriz grape varieties. Its aromatic complexity together with its red fruits jam flavour makes this wine perfect for special ocasions.
Production Technology: Made with selected grape varieties, fully destemmed, with cold (8 ºC) pre-fermenting maceration in stainless steel tanks for 4 days. Fermentation with controled temperature (24 to 26 ºC) for 8 days in stainless steel tanks, 3 delestage per day to extract fine and structured tannins, and subsequent pressing to maintain mulberries and blueberries aromas. Ageing in 10.000 L stainless steel tanks.
Suggestions: The wine should be served at a temperature of 18 ºC and should be decanted, so that the wine will “open” and release all its organoleptic characteristics.
